Carla Campagna

Carla Campagna is the Head Softball Coach/Assistant Athletic Director at Adelphi University located in Garden City, NY. Adelphi University is a member of the Northeast-10 Conference.

 

Prior to Adelphi, Carla spent six seasons as an Assistant Coach at LIU Post, a Division II program located in Brookville, NY. In her tenure with the Green and Gold, she helped the Pioneers capture a pair of East Coast Conference titles in 2014 and 2018, earned five berths in the NCAA Division II Tournament, and win a regional title in 2014, all while mentoring All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American student-athletes.

She competed at Molloy College at the Division II level where she was inducted into the Molloy College Athletic Hall of Fame in the 2019 Class. Well-versed in Division II softball in the East Region, Campagna enjoyed a stellar playing career at ECC member Molloy College. Over four years, she totaled 44 home runs, 207 RBIs and a .370 batting average. She was a three-time All-ECC First Team selection from 2010-12 and was dubbed both the ECC and Daktronics East Region Player of the Year in 2011.

In 2012, she was named to the NFCA All-East Region First Team and the Daktronics All-America Third Team. She holds many career and single-season records at Molloy College; including home runs, runs batted in, total bases, putouts, walks, fielding percentage, slugging percentage.

Outside of coaching, Campagna also worked as LIU Promise Success Coach through the LIU Post Office of Campus Life, guiding undergraduates through academic and career counseling, campus activities and financial aid over their four years as Pioneers.

Carla graduated with a B.S. in Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology from Molloy College. She continued her education from LIU Post and graduated with an M.S in Special Education and Literacy in 2015.
